The Joy of Snow

Ever since I was a little girl I loved the snow. There are few things that give me such instant joy as looking out the window and seeing that suddenly white fluffy flakes have started falling coating the ground with beautiful white fluff.

Even as an adult, I love the snow. Even as a DRIVING adult, I still love the snow as I did. It started snowing yesterday and I couldn’t help myself when I looked out the window at work and squealed at a co-worker that it was snowing. Yes, I still get that excited over the snow. It’s just so lovely.

To me there is nothing like the silence that snow produces. Nothing like walking outside in full moonlight and the ground is covered in sparkling, pristine snow that hasn’t been disturbed yet. It’s a silence that fills the air. It’s a peace.

So I welcome the snow with a joyous heart this year. Let it snow. Let it snow. Let it snow.

Wishing you all peace this holiday season,
B.
