Don't be afraid to declare yourself an ally. But don't just do that, do your homework on how to be a great ally.
I have come to realize that crows are intelligent, social creatures. They interact with each other, alerting each other when their morning offering of food has been dropped. They started coming when lock-downs started during the pandemic — a gift that showed up during an otherwise bleak time during the pandemic.
Florida's press secretary's statement that people against the bill are pro-grooming truly caught me off guard. Her comments are inexcusable, damaging, and dangerous.
I'm sorry that they'll never know the true, beautiful, strong survivor me. That they'll never know the beauty I have to offer. That all of us have to offer.
